What kind of stone is this?

I'm sorry to keep asking 'what kind of stone is this?" but when I bought out another jewelers stuff, she didn't identify what kind of stones they were. I've looked up my resources but can't find anything like it. I thought it might be some kind of Agate or Tourmaline. I just don't know! Again, I would appreciate your assistance.
